An edge is defined as a point or line where one thing ends and another begins; much like the phase of life where this group of young people find themselves.
Between the ages of 18 to 29 decisions and choices have to be made that will have a tremendous impact affecting the rest of your life. The choices you make will either propel you into your God-given destiny or into a life of utter confusion and discontentment. The choice is yours! However, you are not alone. Together we are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

We met seventeen years ago in a classroom at CSUF. After falling in love while earning our degrees, we married in 1995. We now have two handsome boys, Deston and Daion. We’ve been members of Life Church since 1994, blessed with the privilege of serving on the Deacon Board, Life Church Board of Directors, New Member Registration, Flag Ministry, Deacon’s Wives along with teaching Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. We love the Lord and are excited about working with the young adult ministry – The EDGE! |

To equip young adults (ages 18 (high school graduate) – 29) with tools that enhance their ability to make Godly choices that will lead them into their God-given destiny (back to top)
Joshua 24:14-16 – “choose you this day whom you will serve….”
We will present, explore and exhaust various topics which will improve their spiritual and natural lives. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: sex/sexuality, peer influences, music, personal finances (including FICO)/budgeting and career goals.
The EDGE meets 2 nights per month, on the second and fourth Fridays, 7 – 9 pm at Life Church. In addition, there will be occasional offsite activities.
The EDGE also serves as a platform with periodic services for young adults to express their gifts and talents.
